Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Jason Troutman (D.D.S.)
Dr. Jason Troutman, a Mebane, North Carolina native, remembers when everybody knew everybody and Mebane almost felt like one big family. He’s brought that memory to his dental practice and sees every patient as an extension of his own family. Anytime you are in his chair, you are the most important person in the office. He wants you to leave his office knowing you’ve received the highest quality personalized care possible.
He received his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He graduated with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2006 from the UNC School of Dentistry, where he was honored with the Monte G. Miska award for excellence in Prosthodontics, the esthetic restoration and replacement of teeth. He was also requested by the head doctor of the Prosthodontics department to assist in teaching the Advanced Prosthodontics course to juniors of the dental school. Dr. Troutman is passionate for dentistry and it’s evident in his thousands of hours of post doctorate education in comprehensive dental care including cosmetic dentistry and dental implants. He is a member of the Alamance-Caswell Dental Society, the North Carolina Dental Society, the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Seattle Study Club and the Organization of Safety and Asepsis Prevention.
Dr. Troutman has been happily married to Jamie since 2002. They have three boys—Caden, Casey, and Colton—and one daughter, Zaylee. They are active members of their church and enjoy spending time together exercising at his wife’s gym, CrossFit Lifestyle. In his spare time, Dr. Troutman also enjoys laps at Virginia International Raceway, golf, and anything Carolina Blue!!
Dr. Alison Cole (D.M.D.)
Dr. Alison Cole completed her BS from Duke University in 2002. She thoroughly enjoyed her time at Duke while serving as the captain of the varsity women’s soccer team her junior and senior year. She returned home to Charleston to attend the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine, where she was awarded honors such as The American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Award and The Dentsply Fixed Prosthodontics Award. Dr. Cole was named the 2007 Hinman Scholar and 2007 Presidential Scholar and inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society in 2008. She completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree as first honor graduate in 2008 and is currently a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Association, Academy of General Dentists, and Triangle Study Club. She is enjoying being back in North Carolina, spending time with her husband, daughter, and two bloodhounds!
