In-Office Teeth Whitening FAQs:
How Does Professional Teeth Whitening Work?
To start, your Dentist will make a record of the current shade of your teeth. Then, your teeth will be polished to remove plaque and other remains from your teeth. After all this is done the Dentist will apply a whitening solution to your teeth (Usually contains Hydrogen peroxide or Carbamide Peroxide). Whitening products must be activated with a laser or light. Note: For best results, the solution sits on your teeth for 30 minutes to an hour along with the light or laser. After that timeframe, your teeth are rinsed and fluoride may be applied to reduce sensitivity.AM I A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR TEETH WHITENING?
Patients who experience the most benefit from having their teeth whitened:- Are in good dental health

What Causes Teeth Discoloration?
There are many reasons why your teeth become discolored. Here are the two types of teeth discoloration: EXTRINSIC DISCOLORATION Extrinsic discoloration is caused by beverages or smoking, and drinking things like red wine, tea, or coffee can contribute to the yellowing of your teeth. INTRINSIC DISCOLORATION Intrinsic discoloration happens from the inside of the tooth. This type of discoloration is created by infection, aging, medication, childhood illness, or tooth trauma. Not all teeth stains are created equal, and if you’ve struggled to get your teeth white through home remedies, you may need a deeper clean. What forms of payment do you accept?
